The Oklahoma City Thunder have deployed their traditional starting lineup for the first time this season against the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Cup Semifinal.

While many players and pundits believe Nikola Jokic is the best in the NBA, Spurs star Victor Wembanyama is not buying it.

The Thunder (24-1) have won a franchise-record 16 in a row. They destroyed the Phoenix Suns in a 138-89 win to advance in the NBA Cup on Wednesday. They led by as many as 53 points. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 28 points and eight assists in three quarters.

The Spurs have kept on chugging without Victor Wembanyama, and the recent play of young guards Stephon Castle and Dylan Harper caught the Frenchman's eye.
