The Indiana House approved new congressional maps designed to hand Republicans all nine of the state’s US House seats on Friday, setting the stage for a showdown next week in the state Senate.

The U.S. Senate is expected to vote next week on a bill to extend tax credits that lower health insurance costs, but as of right now, the legislation appears unlikely to secure the necessary votes.
